Wissenschaftskommunikation.de is an information and discussion portal for everyone who communicates science. It is primarily aimed at those involved in public relations and science, but also addresses topics at the interface with science journalism.

The articles reflect current debates and trends, offer insights into the daily work of science communicators, report on career entry opportunities and present selected projects and guidelines. A broad database of formats provides a wide range of inspiration for practitioners.

A central concern of the platform is to build a bridge between research and practice in science communication. The Department of Science Communication at KIT is significantly involved in the research section of the platform involved in the research section. The editorial team regularly presents current studies from the field of science of science communication. In interviews, researchers report on questions, methods, results and the practical relevance of their work.

Wissenschaftskommunikation.de is a joint portal of Wissenschaft im Dialog (WiD) with the National Institute for Science Communication (NaWik) and the chair of Annette Leßmöllmann at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The portal is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Klaus Tschira Foundation.
